Hi TeamThank you all againYes thanks to your help I'm not so concerned about Debt collectors at this stage.Does that letter come from DCB Ltd or from DCB Legal Ltd?The letter is from DCBL ( Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd). The letter is the "FINAL NOTICE OF DEBT RECOVERY".It states that i've failed to pay the £170.00 outstanding balance. That they will now recommend their client to begin legal action, which will incur further costs to the debt etc..Does that letter offer you 30 days to think about it or some lesser time?No there is no mention of time or anything. Just simply that its a Final Notice or Debt Recovery.Would this letter be considered a LBC?Or would i expect the next letter or LBC, from their client (solicitors etc..)?thank you again.

No it's not. Search the forum for it and you will find accounts of the letters in less than a minute of looking.
Saves us time if people search for what they receive at this tedious stage, rather than post about it. You'll be glad we are not drawn in replying to other people at this stage when you really need us! We are here when you need advice but that's not now. The NEWBIES thread is there to stop us drowning.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi again teamthank you again.I just noticed my last reply to your most recent reply to me (KeithP - 01.08.24) has not gone through.!Not to worry. So I was answering your questions and wrote the following but it seems to not have gone through for whatever reason..Does that letter come from DCB Ltd or from DCB Legal Ltd?Letter is from DCBL Ltd. (Direct Collection B....s Ltd)Does that letter offer you 30 days to think about it or some lesser time?No the letter has no stated time mentioned. It simply says :-"We will now recommend to your Client to begin legal action, then this may also result in CCj"...etc..etc..Would it help me at all, if at any stage i mention to them, that i paid for the car park use. Or will this be in court? That I was in a car park owned by Emartbuy, run by Civil Enforcement Ltd. We paid (always pay car parks) for a ticket, I think it was £1.00 / 2.00 roughly. Think we used the machine and displayed the paper ticket, but i honestly cant remember exactly now as i do regularly use Ringo, PaybyPhone and JustPark apps too!Am i right in thinking the LBC will be the next step from them? or their Client (Solicitors firm)?Thank you again.

If you’re following all the advice, this will never get to any hearing in court. It is going to be a DCB Legal filed claim as and when it arrives. Easily defended and eventually discontinued.Gymworks said:Would it help me at all, if at any stage i mention to them, that i paid for the car park use. Or will this be in court?2 -
