I'll be really glad of any help. Here is the email: (I have put xxx in some of the numbers in case that is necessary)
The email, when I hovver on it, is from:

Press delete, and worry no more.
This isn't an order, it's nothing, and nothing bad will happen if you delete it.
If you ever wonder to yourself "Is this a scam", then it always is.5 -
Thanks very much robatwork. I appreciate your quick reply. I have no idea how this person got my main email address but, following the information you have given (thank you again) I will delete it right now.

I get those pretty much daily. Don't look at the attachment and delete.1

You probably have an option in your email to mark this as spam before deleting, which will help it get screened out from other people's mail.

How do you think 'they' got your email address, GrumpyDil? Thank you.

Eco, your e mail address is now being used to send spam. If you get others do not open any attachments. If you don’t recognise the company just delete.1

I'm not sure how to mark as spam, but I'll look now in case needed in the future. As soon as I read the helpful reply from robatwork, thanked also by Bridlington 1 (and quickly endorsed by GrumpyDil) I deleted the email immediately and emptied my 'bin' folder contents.0

This sort of email is very common, and there's absolutely no point worrying about how they got your email address.
Just learn to spot them.
In this case the obvious markers are the fact that you didn't order anything, that the email isn't actually addressed to you (i.e. it says 'Hey There', not 'Dear EcoChrisat76'), that the email doesn't even mention the product or service 'ordered', that it has a 'receipt' that you are being promoted to open (which will be dodgy if you do), that the contact details are unintelligible, that the email comes from a named person but doesn't mention a company, that the named person doesn't match the name in the email address, and last, but by no means least, that it comes from a gmail address, not a business address.
So many glaring flags!
Just delete anything like this.
And learn how to mark stuff as spam as it will help filter future ones out before you even see them.
Edited to add: I see you asked a similar question about a similar type of email in January (https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6501659/could-this-be-a-scam-or-spam/p1). it's good to be suspicious but also good to gain confidence in deciding what's spam. I hope you're gaining that!5
