Thanks very much, Slinky.  I'm not sure how to mark as spam, but I'll look now in case needed in the future.  

As soon as I read the helpful reply from robatwork, thanked also by Bridlington 1 (and  quickly endorsed by GrumpyDil) I  deleted the email immediately and emptied my 'bin' folder contents.

If you are using Gmail, when you open the email, at the top there are several buttons, second one in from the left is mark as spam.
