I don't want to speak too soon but I have stuck to it today (fingers crossed for the next few hours) and have managed to eat just about 1500 calories AND can (sort of) tick off my 5 a day - for once I am not counting wine as one portion on the basis it is 'fruit juice'

Promlem is, I've just noticed there is Christmas cake left
Don't do it!! Be strong!! May the force be with you.
If it wasn't so wasteful I would suggest the 'chuck it in the bin and cover it with washing up liquid' routine. Shame it doesn't fall into 'free' foods (if SW still has free foods) £34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010) £34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

What about if we thought of it as lots of fruit, stuck together with little bits of cake Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3: Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Imho chocolate is made from beans, which are vegetables, and blueberry muffins are a portion of fruit....so by that logic Christmas cake and chocolate orange and jaffa cakes and toblerone all count as one of your 5 a day 0 0
