All you have to do is check the ,meter serial number is the one on your bill and make sure you aren't getting estimated bills - submit readings if needed.0 -

Our standard electricity meter has broken and our energy supplier is insisting on installing a smart meter which we do not want.Why on earth not?I'm at my wits end!!!!Just get a smart meter installed and stop being paranoid. If you were talking about a SMETS1 being installed, there was good reason not to want one of those. But you would get SMETS2 and they are fine. If a SMETS2 meter cannot communicate, then it acts as a non-smart meter.

Meter fitters fit meters. If you fit meters you are a meter fitter. You may also be many other things too.Barnsley, South Yorkshire
