I've got a couple of black scallops. The leaves really are dark and the flowers are the prettiest blue.

Looks like there are one or two Heuchera with dark red / purple leaves which might suit you.   Palace Purple looks quite dark

I ran across this page via a gardening article today and think the frilly black irises are stunning, you could almost go to a ball in the black lipstick one.

I spotted this lovely deep purple iris in someone's front garden today and thought of you.

Just taken cuttings from a neighbours garden of an almost black leaved Clematis.
It would have dark purple large flowers

Too late for this year, but if I think "bishop's children" dahlia seeds could be one to try for next year - I've always had a decent germination rate. Most (but not all) tend to have dark leaves, and the flowers are always vibrant - I seem to end up with more purple or red flowers than any other colour.
