Just reading through this as I had the same question about stopping data once the allowance is used on a 30-day SIM only plan.
Isn't the auto top up applicable for the PAYG Top up plans only though? Or does it also apply to the 30-day SIM only plans too? If so, I didn't realise you could "top up" a 30-day SIM plan if you use all your data allowance.

My debit card was charged £5 for the priviledge.I contacted them about my error and, to be fair, my card was credited the £5.0
