From reading the newbies thread again and @Bargepole 2016.  I understand the following next actions
    • Email (I would use the one I sent Defence) completed N180 back to CNBC
    • Post another copy of N180 to Claimant
    • Start to build evidence for Witness Statement
    • Wait for local Court to contacts with a hearing date
    • Take note of all the deadlines given

The completed N180 DQ is emailed to the DQ email address listed near the beginning of the defence template thread, so not the email address that the defence went to

So a different email address for each different category, use the correct one with DQ in its details

Post or email a copy of the completed N180 DQ to the lawyers acting for the Claimant, as well as to the CNBC , or to VCS themselves if no lawyers are involved here, check the second paragraph on the left of the claim form

    Yes

Yes ( or any Court directions, but will include the hearing date

    Yes

You send a single email addressed to BOTH the CNBC and the claimant or their solicitor AND you also CC in yourself. Don't send separate emails. If one recipient, including yourself, if CCd, receive it, then they all received it. Only if an email is bounced back with an error code/message, then it wasn't delivered to that party.

Yep - glad you gleaned the order of the process but because that thread is old (as I warned you already) for your actual next actions. go by the 12 steps and the new email addresses shown in the Template Defence thread.

OK, Ive sent and copied emails with N180 to who I think are VCS acting legal people, and a copy of N180 to VCS litigation by post. Email I used was ClaimResponses.CNBC@justice.gov.uk and I have asked them to confirm this is the correct email for N180 responses. I will let you know.

I don't think that's the DQ email shown in the Template Defence thread, is it? Please refer to the first 12 steps there and the email list.

That is not the correct email address.
