They've recently had some very good deals on Macbooks and 24" iMacs, I would have been very tempted if my nine year old MBP wasn't still running so well...

That price is excluding VAT the actual price is £1099.

That is a decent price. 

Its a discontinued product, the 15" only comes with an M3 these days and likely to move to M4 before too long but still a very serviceable product and the price is good given Apple are selling reconditioned versions for £120 more
