So, you still need to know why the claim stay was lifted. There is no excuse for not informing the parties to the claim of what is going on, whether it is a CNBC screw up or anything else.2

I wouldn't bother. Really not needed. The case is back on track and it was clearly a typical CNBC error. No application was made. And that reply to defence is the normal template seen in all recent ParkingEye claims. Everything is as expected.
Mediation (a waste of time phone call with a clueless non-legally trained bully) is now compulsory, so search the forum to learn about that @Abzg2k19 because she needs to know NOT TO OFFER SETTLEMENT.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

This changed recently and how to handle & get past it is in the first 12 steps in the Template Defence thread (and what to say on the Mediation call has been discussed on every case at your stage since June),PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

As long as you haven't moved house then I would not wake the sleeping lion! ParkingEye appear to have forgotten about your case.
We hope while your case is quiet that you and your family can find time to respond with us to the Public Consultation, which is now open for August.
What parking operators do is is a national disgrace and a drain on Society, in terms of money and anxiety. To be part of the push to change things in future, it's very important that people like you (AND YOUR PARENTS!) tell the Government that:
a) motorists have no faith in POPLA or the IAS and that there must be a SINGLE APPEALS SERVICE that people trust. The sector is crying out for an independent and impartial appeals service - not two involved in a race to the bottom - that will give a real option to resolve disputed cases out of court.
b). THE ENRICHMENT OF 'DEBT RECOVERY FEES' MUST BE COMPLETELY BANNED. CASES ARE NOT SOLVED BY DEMANDING MORE MONEY.
Whilst ParkingEye 'only' added £25 this was NOT on the signs nor on their PCN so it isn't a contractual fee, doesn't act as a deterrent and comes too late. There is no legitimate interest in just slapping on £25 (nor even a fiver) at Letter before Claim stage as PEye did. Far too late. It's purpose is purely to bump up the claim amount snd yet they are already claiming the full £50 capped legal fees. They can't have both.
Responses are invited to the Consultation now:

IWe will discuss it further next week on that thread if you want more focus.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
