From memory, on the website the balance does not update unless you logout and back in again, but it you go into the new account and click on the 'Statement' link that comes up (I think it was that) then you can see the transactions going into the account.SpanishBlue said:Marcoos said:
How did you transfer it, app or web site?SpanishBlue said:Anyone else open the account, transferred the funds internally from their Flex account (or similar), and the money has yet to appear?Just wondering how long to leave it before I contact them to find out where my £10,000 has disappeared too?
I transferred from Virgin to NW, then on to the saver via the app. Appeared straight away, had the web site open at the same time and hadn't updated after a few refreshes. Thanks, I did it via the website. After a few refreshes I just tried logging out & then back in again and it's now there! So it seems you have to log out & in again to see it.0 -
Yep! Me and Mrs Bobblehat both had to logout and back in (online) to see that the transfer from NW CA to the 5.5% Fix had landed. Bit odd when the transfer out of the CA shows immediately after you have just done the transaction, but the addition to the 5.5% Fix doesn't show until you do the logout/in thing!Notepad_Phil said:

By reading this thread - @jameseonline reported it on 23 May and quoted the Nationwide press release of that date.MQA said:Hi, May I ask how did you find out about this Bond so soon ie before 24 May ? as I only got an email from Nationwide on the 27 May.
It was also reported by the serious news outlets the same / next day.2 -
It came out of the Faire Share payment news (see banking & budgeting forum) along with a nationwide switch offer (see banking forum again), I decided to post a thread about the Member Bond in Savings forum as nobody started one😁, thus completing all 3 nationwide announcementsMQA said:Hi, May I ask how did you find out about this Bond so soon ie before 24 May ? as I only got an email from Nationwide on the 27 May.0 -
Opened it tonight, funded straightaway from current account (funded from Tandem, I always forget that takes a few moments to come over!) Caught it earlier today on the MSE savings page.0

Does this Bond qualify for the Fairer Share loyalty payment (if they do it next year)?0

Impossible to tell as the bond launched after the qualification period for this year's fairer share. But I would guess so.Justin1963 said:Does this Bond qualify for the Fairer Share loyalty payment (if they do it next year)?
This year's criteria:3. What are qualifying savings?
You will have had qualifying savings if you had at least £100 in total in one or more personal savings accounts or cash ISAs with Nationwide at the end of any day in March 2024.
Qualifying savings do not include:
- Money you held in a Nationwide Business Savings account (including money held in BusinessInvestor, PortfolioInvestor and Treasurer’s Trust accounts).
- Money or other assets held in a Nationwide Investment account, such as a stocks and shares ISA.
- Money in an account in the name of someone else that is being held for your benefit under a trust or similar arrangement. For example, if money is held in a Smart or Future Saver account in the name of a parent but for the benefit of a child, the money in the account will only count towards the parent’s qualifying savings. Money in a Child Trust Fund or Smart Junior ISA is held in an account in the name of a child and therefore the money will count towards the child’s qualifying savings. It will not count towards the Registered Contact’s qualifying savings unless they are also the child account holder.
