Why is everyone doing 2 payments back out? What have I missed? I sent 480 out in one go.
    From the TCB terms

” 3. In three out of the first four calendar months after you’ve opened your account: (a) Pay in at least £500 each month (b) Make at least two debit payments out of your account each month”
Surely that'd be satisfied by the 20 debit card transactions you're doing, no?

I’m sure I read somewhere it might not count. But for a fraction extra effort in the name of backside covering, I’ll just do it.

I thought the 20 debit card payments would count but yes, it's worth doing it in two payments just in case so I'll send some more in and out to make sure I definitely meet the criteria 😁

Sweet! The wording does suggets so. But sure someone said it might not/wouldn't count. I'll probably still do it, just to be safe. TCB are pretty good, but just in case. It's not a lot more effort.

I recently opened a TSB Spend and Save account. When opening the account on line I must have missed the bit about switching from another account. Then theres been a delay it getting the on line banking activated.

I have now completed a swich form to switch an existing account over to this new account. Is there any chance i will get the switching bonus or does it have to be done at the same time as Iopened the account ?

TSB seems to want you to open the current account first and then initiate the switch after by filling in that adobe form. The online banking activation code took 7 days to arrive from opening the account.

    You should be fine.

I opened a tsb current account on 1st June. Showing with my other tsb account online now. Pin received Monday. No card yet. Maybe it will be in the next tranche of post Royal Mail deign to drop on my doormat? Slow.
Ive tried their ‘chat’ service but it let me type my question then give an error message saying try again in two minutes. Now won’t even let me type a question.
It’s all been said before and probably by me…………
