Of course no-one pays these. Don't even think about it.

  • Thanks guys, the thing is I can easily pay the £100 but hate bullies, so happy to fight.

SO, the pub hasn't done what they said they would three times.  I'm about to leave some very damming online reviews, what is my step after that. When do i get my day in court?

The parking company has 6 years to issue a court claim pack from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL, so to sue you, so the answer is, sometime before spring 2030

    Or

    Time-out

Thanks. Its a Greene King pub

Who do I liaise with. ?

I already told you who to contact, to liaise with, Head office or the CEO at Greene King, they are probably the landowner and they probably hired the parking company, not the actual pub itself

Ignore the debt collectors letters and ensure that your post is checked regularly whilst you are away, there are various things that arrive by post with deadlines, especially official post from a government office, council, police etc

I had this at a GreenKing in Cambridge.

I also went into the pub and manager promised to cancel, but clearly they didn't as, it still got passed onto DCBI.

I went to GK main website, found the complaints section and wrote a polite complaint, saying I was registered keeper and the staff had promised to cancel but had not, I was getting more letters and requested they cancelled from Head office.

They responded within a few hours saying if I could supply copies of the letters and proof of purchase, they would cancel. I did that and they cancelled it.

So for anyone who is in this situation, staff in pubs are never going to be very good at admin, they're busy pulling pints and serving pies, just go to head office.
