Ah OK. Good, you are in the area (ITA)!
Go to the pub and ask them to please email the cancellation email they will hold for Britannia.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

ok, been to pub, same barmaid who remmebred me (we were only customers) been promised to be ccd in on an email bu dont feel that hopeful, whats my next steps i am tempted to pay the fine despite not being in wrong0

Next steps are pay or possibly be sued in court, if it gets that far, so you definitely need the pub to cancel it1
-
Next steps would be to email the pub and ask them about your conversation and to ask them if they have cancelled the parking charge notice issued by their agents, Britannia parking. They should get back in touch, if they don't then you need to remind them that they are jointly and severally liable for the actions of their agents, and this could include any costs that you have as a result of them allowing an un regulated parking company to operate on their car park.Is this a chain pub, or a truly independent pub? From the Plain Language Commission:

If its a Greene King pub, their head office likely contracted with the parking company, so probably better to escalate the matter to head office, or the CEO
a typical loss in court for a single PCN is about £2002 -
Greene King pubs have names so what is the pub called and where is it.jimmymcnulty said:Thanks. Its a Greene King pub
