They will send it straight to an auction house.0 -
Hi all,
An update on this topic. Yesterday I received a lengthy email from Teneo, the company that is handling Cazoo's administration.
The email advised that I should cancel my 'Service plan' by contacting the company I'm paying it with. But upon a re-read I am wondering by that, do they mean the PCP that I am paying through Black Horse? Or a 'service plan', that includes warranties/MOT's/Services?
When I started the hire in 2022, I paid upfront for a two year service plan with Cazoo that would've expired by now. So I'm thinking that by 'Service plan' in the email they mean this & not the PCP? I'm not sure0 -

Just thought I would provide some clarity on things. (Supported by Manchester evening news outlet if you google it)
I have both a Cazoo 3 year service plan taken out in May 2022 and also an extended warranty plan.
The extended warranty plan is protected and provided by The Warranty Group (Assurant). This would include the RAC cover as part of this.
However the service plan is provided by Cazoo but they used a platform called whocanfixmycar for the logistics or arranging appointments and the arrangement of it. This is why the service plan is basically scrapped now but the warranty plans are fine.
Luckily I just got my service done 2 months ago but with me having 1 year left I should be due 1/3rd of the cost of it as stated on Cazoo's own service plan terms and conditions.
However this is not being honoured as they are in administration now.
In terms of the chargeback request for the service plan, chargeback requests can only be considered within a 120 day period, so as I took out the service plan over 2 years I cannot submit a chargeback request and will have to wait before I can take action as a creditor against Cazoo.
I'm not able to post links apparently otherwise I would link all the terms and conditions but hope that clears some things up.0 -
I also had a Cazoo 3 year service plan with one year left to use. Got emailed by the administrator earlier this week with some standard info plus a link to a special website where you are able to lodge a claim (each person has a separate password for the site so nothing you can do until you get the email from the administrator). Not quite sure if claims will be paid in full or just some percentage0

With a ongoing service or future dated event there is a caveat within chargeback regulations, that so long as the original payment was withing 540 days you do still have a chargeback right 👍Life in the slow lane0
