    I thought I would try to log into the account today and did exactly what I did yesterday and I was successful.

    Nothing different to what I did yesterday.

    So I transferred my £2.00 back to my nominated account but did not close it.

    I like to keep all my bank accounts open even if there is no money in them.
    You should keep a minimum amount of money in accounts or risk closure, currently majority of mine have £1 in, those that don't regularly have money going in & out of them (Nationwide and Virgin) or really not that important to keep.
