Entrance to the car park or building? The sign I’ve posted is in three places in the car park. In the reception there is a large 6ft freestanding board advising customers to enter their registration number.Coupon-mad said:What about the entrance sign?0 -

The sign I posted is on the wall facing you as you drive into the entrance about 25 feet away, then is also replicated in four other places around the car park. There’s no other signage.Coupon-mad said:Entrance to the car park - you need that.0 -
Take a photo' of the lack of entrance sign then. This will be a BPA breach. Also take photos of the space where the vehicle was parked, and if possible show that signs could not be seen from the driver's viewpoint.
What happened when you and your family cancelled/threatened to cancel your membership? You should all be using this as a weapon to combat this scam.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Many thanks. So as you drive through the gateposts one of the signs I posted above faces you on the gym wall, but it’s around 25 feet away. Should they have some other sign AT the entrance and if so what should it say “private car park” or something? By the time someone drove close enough to see the wall sign they would be well within the car park.Fruitcake said:Take a photo' of the lack of entrance sign then. This will be a BPA breach. I’m in a contract until Oct. I have said several times this would make me not renew but the manager has said they were spending up to £1000 per month cancelling fines for customers and couldn’t do that any more. The fact there were so many fines suggests something isn’t right with the signage or reg number terminal2 -
The BPA CoP states what signage its members are required to display. Not having it is a breach of said CoP.kevinyork said:

Thank you. I have read it and think this is their Achilles heel.Coupon-mad said:Read the Annex about mandatory entrance signs at the end of the BPA CoP.2 -
Hi folks. I started this thread. I appealed using the template and not unexpectedly they have denied it. Before proceeding to POPLA I was hoping for a little more guidance. The template asks them to provide photos of the parking notices on site which they haven't done. They have just advised there are lots of signs and that my vehicle registration was not within their system.
So I was considering in my POPLA details that I only have their word that the registration number, or one which closely matches, was not recorded. Can I say that they should provide evidence the terminal was working at the time of the supposed offence and present a (redacted) audit trail to prove the registration wasn’t recorded. Also with regard to signage in the car park, the car is normally parked in the same place and the photo attached is taken from the drivers door showing a yellow sign to the left and to the right albeit quite a distance apart. Does this sound as though it’s relevant?
Finally I didn’t notify who the driver was (me) but is there any point in continuing to withhold this since as the driver I could advise that I always log the vehicle registration and that sometimes the terminal is very slow and sticky when entering the registration.
thanks in advance.
