Hi
I have just received the below from the court. Please note that I sent my defence via email and I got a letter of acknowledgement from the court via post.
how do you think I should resend to the new cour? Still by email or shall I post it to them?“On 03August 2024
Before District Judge Etherington sitting at the Civil National Business Centre, Northampton
UPON the court noting that:
- documents referred to in the order below were filed by one of the parties but those documents are not on the court file
- The court has undertaken a search but the documents have not been found
- The claim cannot progress until the court file is complete
- A notice of transfer (to another county court) has been issued
It is ordered that:
1) By 4pm on 23/08/24 the defendant must send to the court named on the attached Notice of Transfer a copy of the defence “
Thanks

Seems to be a spate of these missing documents issues recently
Just look at the website of the court that you nominated and email a copy of the defence to them, with the reference details, name and address etc . The local civil court should be named on the new paperwork you received3 -

See recent posts by @LDast for what to put.
These 'send us your defence as it's been lost' emails should ALWAYS be seized as an opportunity to get the case struck out. Hopefully pushing against an open door at this stage.
Attach 4 things. You must copy in the C's solicitors too. I see it is DCB Legal (claim for CP Plus Ltd T/A Group Nexus).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
