1p mobile piggy backs off EE,
EE are turning off 3G,  You’ll need a 4G with VoLTE turned on.
Turn off the phone and restart.

My wife is with O2 and always gets a good signal even when my 1p mobile is in a dead zone with no signal.
It’s useful us being on different networks at least one of us can get a signal.
1p mobile is cheaper but if 1p mobile increases minimum monthly spend I may consider a change.

I’m due to top up so we’ll see if this causes me a problem.

When 3G was turned off I moved to 2G, no problems with calls or text, but then I couldn’t make calls. Texting was still fine.
I switched to a new phone with 4G VoLTE, signal is not as good as my wife’s phone who is uses o2.
