I can't post a screenshot as it would make my account identifiable to everyone on the forum.GadgetGuru said:Do you have a screenshot you can share?0 -
I meant a screenshot of the actual feedback, with item number covered, for instance. If its a generic feedback your account wouldn't be identifiable at all.EffieTrinketsWig said:

If not, it's no bother. I was just interested to see it more anything else.

As the feedback shows the items sold it would be easy for someone to use it to identify my account, I have already quoted what the feedback says and the relevant accompanying information, I feel I am being asked to prove that I am not lying about this, so believe what you want to, inevitably I won't be the only person receiving this feedback so hopefully eventually others will come forward and support what I am saying.GadgetGuru said:

I still can’t find anything about this online and am always intrigued by the possibility that eBay have intorudiced something without either telling anyone or changing their t and cs .
This is all I can find when asking a specific question on eBay
“You can have eBay leave Feedback either after a buyer has paid, or after the buyer has paid and left you positive Feedback. The choice is yours”. With links to-the automatic feedback that was referred to above, with a choice of comments that can be used. Looking at feedback generally it seems a lot of sellers opt for the generic statement suggested by eBay.
I’ll be interested to see if anyone has seen any automatic feedback and will continue to look for other mentions as this is a fairly important issue that affects the way a seller uses feedback and should be noted. If eBay are even trialling a system then sellers need to know as a lot of sellers, myself included, deliberately don’t leave feedback for some buyers, and if feedback is to become mandatory I would prefer to use my own phrase for some buyers.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I have searched and found nothing about it either, I have been selling on eBay for over 20 years and only in the past 2 weeks have I started seeing this automated feedback from eBay.0

Here is an example, the feedback gives no indication of who the buyer is or when they bought the items, only what the item number is, if you have sold more than one item you cannot see who the feedback was left on behalf of.KxMx said:You can take screenshot then edit it, to black out any sensitive information.

I received this automatic feedback today. Identical wording on 2 recently sold items. It's very disappointing when buyers don't leave feedback. I want to know they're pleased with the fast service I've given and with what they've bought. I'm only selling a few personal items but I leave positive feedback as soon as they've paid. I leave sellers feedback as soon as something's delivered to me.
Not sure eBay leaving this auto feedback adds anything to my profile though?1 -
I’ve recently sold a couple of bits and had two lots of automated feedback.0
