Thank you
I'm nearly 40 and have some DB pensions, so feel happy to take more risk for potentially higher returns in the LISA until I am approaching 60.0 -

I am switching my LISA from a j bell to dodl due to charges (I can only afford to put in £25 a month). However I don't know which funds to get. In my a j bell LISA I have Lifestrategy 100 and also Hsbc global strategy the most risky one. In my normal isa with vanguard I have Vanguard Global All Caps. I know I dont need all those different ones but I was just playing around and finding out about them.
I want something similar on dodl but I don't know how to put them together and in what percentages?? On the fact sheets on Dodl I cant even see their special alphabet codes.
8) HSBC FTSE All World Index Fund 0.12%
Please can anyone help??
Thanks a lot in advance.
I want a set and forget thing like Lifestrategy.
i just moved my L-ISA from Skipton (Cash L-ISA), to Dodl’s S&S L-ISA, coz I’m over 40 this seemed like a no-brainier.
I was happy with the 0.15%, but their managed portfolios fees were a bit off-putting, especially after using InvestEngine and T212.
i haven’t looked too deeply into their products yet (I’m taking a breather and making good use of their 5.09% interest), but yeah the HSBC FTSE All World looks attractive.👌
EDIT:
Have you had a look at *Around the World > Across The Pond* @0.05% it’s essentially the S&P500I don’t know if I’m just tired, but I couldn’t find the exact ticker symbols,
but these are the closet comparisons I could find for 3 vs 8Via JustETF.com

I know I probably seem like a loser only doing £25 a month but I hope in the future that I can increase that amount.
Thank you everyone. Much appreciatedI’ve been trying to get so many friends to start investing, even as little as £20/month and they all say they ‘can’t afford it’, but they still go out me get sloshed every weekend. So mucho respect 🫡0 -

Investing in the S&P500 is more risky and less diversified than a global equity tracker, so would depend on your risk appetite. It is also heavily influenced by a small number of very big tech companies, so if/when tech stocks crash, it's gonna be messy.1 -

I’m so tempted to buy a cheap iPad, strictly for my investing, and just have all the investment website tabs loaded up.
What other news sites, resources do you like using?
On YouTube, I love Bloomberg TV, Bloomberg Tech, Yahoo Finance, CNBC etc
EDIT: Morningstar is brilliant!
I wish I was a bit more technical, and knew how to best navigate this site. I usually invest with gut and emotion, which is WRONG, I know! Haha😵💫
After following your link, I just went all in (£10k) on ‘iShares US Equity Index Fund’! 🫣🫡😅0 -

I mostly set and forget my investments so don't monitor any media really. I use the Morningstar portfolio manager to keep an eye on everything across platforms in one place. So that's why I look things up on Morningstar. I think they're are better places for plots though. The original is incredibly slow and clunky but it shows personal annualised returns and factors in new contributions so it's handy.1 -

I have a comfy position in some Global index funds in my S&S ISA. some Defence ETF’s, some S&P500, a bit of Russell 2000 etc.
Wanna talk about risk? I’m haemorrhaging after investing in NVDA before earnings Ooooph! 😅😩 Haha0 -
Under themed investments- on top of the world- I invest in the HSBC- FTSE all world index fund (Accumulation) on DODL.Nurse striving for financial freedom1
