Just asked BG on twitter where it's gone, no reply yet ,as a low user and my contract with eon ending on the 1st of July I was tempted , but they all seem to be the same now.xflare said:flipflophw said:Looks like it's disappeared this morningYes, apparently for existing customers only now....and now the MSE Energy Club Comparison tool is showing lots of tariffs from Utility Warehouse / OVO that aren't quite what they appear to be.0 -

Sorry for the delay in replying.xflare said:Did you decide to make the switch in the end? Im still debating whether to do so.
No I haven’t switched and I will probably come to regret that decision over the next 6-12 months.
I’m not convinced BG will be hassle-free given a lot of posts here, on X (Twitter) and Trustpilot etc in regards to billing - I know lots of people will say they have had no problems with BG or other suppliers are no better but I’ve managed to halve my DD with E.ON as I’ve built up too much credit so I’m now “paying” less than the quote I had from BG.
My current deal with E.ON ends in August so I still need to switch at some point. Whether that’ll be on a cheaper tariff remains to be seen.
With prices predicted to increase by around 12% from October, I’m not so sure there will be too many good deals to come but time will tell.“Hardware: The parts of a computer system that can be thrown out of the nearest window!”0
