Why do you think they are in different locations, or why does that even matter?

Call center can easily have more than one person on the line (training when trainer is sat listing to trainee talking & they can if needed take over call. Either could be anywhere in the world, makes no difference.

Done that often enough.

If someone was hacking your calls, you would not know about it.
