Dimples Quantum heaters are fancy computerised things.  They warm up overnight on cheap electricity, then they let the heat out when they are programmed to do.
If the person who programmed them didn't know what they are doing, then the heaters could be letting out heat at all the wrong times.  You may need a techy person, or a proper Quantum-trained expert, to set them up right.

In the meantime, you're using lots of expensive daytime electricity, and not a lot of cheap overnight power.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

Also they are not intended to be run in conjunction with other heaters because it throws-off their  estimates of how much heat they need to store. From what I've heard they can be made to generate peak rate heat themselves which they can account for.

I’ll echo the above thoughts, Dimplex Quantums should be highly capable heaters in most scenarios. If you’re on a dual rate tariff and are using something different for heating instead you’ll probably save more by get the Quantums configured to work for your needs than by switching tariffs.
