Is My Payslip Correct: Minimum Wage Increase

Once they fix it, net monthly salary should be around £1647 (and pence)
You need to politely point out your April pay wasnt paid at NMW, and when will it be rectified. Give them chance to fix it before taking more nuclear options.0 -

From https://www.acas.org.uk/national-minimum-wage-entitlement/when-your-rate-increases
"The higher rate starts to apply from the next pay reference period after the increase. This means someone's pay might not go up straight away."
The next pay reference period after the increase is going to start on 1st May
EDIT
Or possibly not. Appears to be two versions one suggesting 1st May and another 1st April
Details in a later post0 -
Ah there we go then, if it doesnt change by May thats when you complain.0

The deductions based on a salary of £23k are, however, correct, the issue here is the salary. My Signature is MY OWN!!0 -

I am confused by this, it's either my new pay is correct post NMW or it isn't?
Could someone respond.
Just for clarification - My question is if i am correctly paid AFTER the NMW increase as this new pay amount of £1,617.75 is the first time I am receiving it.My Signature is MY OWN!!0 -

In May your salary needs to increase to £23.5k to account for the number of hours you work and the new NMW. They have a month to essentially get it right, as per Chrisbur's post above.
If its not right end of May, thats when you complain.0 -

Again, you don't seem to understand, what I am saying is that my April 2024 pay which is due to be paid today does include the National Minimum Wage increase they told us this earlier last week. The above amount I posted of £1,617.75 a month is the NEW amount at the new £11.44p.h. rate they say I will be getting a month starting with today!
I need to clarify one final time because unfortunately, they have made an absolutely catastrophic mess with most of the workers' pay since the original payroll person left they have no idea what they are doing and are guessing what we should be paid, they do not follow what is on the timesheets, some people are getting half pay when they worked a full month plus overtime no one has had a p60, no one has had their pension contributions been paid into the scheme so they will get a fine for it.
That's why I need ultimate proof that i can submit to them from someone here that whatever the new pay amount should be going forward, otherwise they will make up all kinds of stuff which is what they are doing any way.
Who they have doing it is not even qualified, payroll or accountant or book keeper they know nothing about this. Some people are thinking of leaving because of the mess they have been dragging out!My Signature is MY OWN!!0 -

This is simple. Multiply £11.44 by 39.5 (the hours you work).
Then multiply the result by 52 (weeks in a year).
You can see straight away the answer is MORE than 23,000.
Someone on this thread has already done this sum for you btw.
On the new NMW you should be coming out, after tax, with around £30 more than you got in April.0 -
