Bank Holiday, and managed to spend no money.
Lovely day out exploring one of the new walking routes- while trying to dodge the showers!
Found somewhere out of the rain to have our picnic. Took a flask of homemade butternut squash soup, some sourdough bread, houmous and fruit.
The sun came out and we were treated to a chorus of bird song and the sight of some of this year's baby squirrels. It lookes like they were making their first venture out of their drey, encouraging by their very vocal parents ❤️
