Hi All,
Please find the ticket attached.
This ticked has been issued for parking out of the marked bay in a shopping centre car park in Leeds and a fine of £100 . It arrived to me as the registered keeper via post few days ago.
No luck with finding out the land owner as its a huge car park and I have been into many shops and no one seems to know, apart from getting pointed to a security office there.
I haven't appealed yet, and reading through other threads there seems to be mixed suggestions.
I would be gratefull if you can kindly advice regards to next steps.
I do realise i have missed the 14 day window for paying the reduced fee at £60. Should I have appealed before then ?
Any advice much appreciated . TIA !

    It's not a fine.

The 14 day mugs discount is irrelevant.

    There is no appeal.

    Everyone ignores UKCPS.

Read any UKCPS thread.  Ignore them (Obviously tell them if you move house but that's common sense, so you see all the daft letters). Enjoy!

  • Thanks for your reply coupon-mad & Keith. I didn't go down to the security office..Should I go down and maybe try the landowners info you sent aswell . Also when you contact them , is it ok to reveal you were the driver as in I got this parking ticket, etc or  do I just ignore it ?

Definitely try to get the security office, and Savills or LandSec to cancel it, no question about it, its by far the best option for you

Use the royal WE, no need to reveal who was driving, its a complaint from the keeper, not the driver

If they won't cancel it, ignore UKCPS unless you move house within 6 years.

    Hi all,
I posted the pcn recieved last year and ignored letters from UKCPS as suggested. It all went quiet for months and I thought they went away, but now I have recieved a letter(attached) from Trace debt recovery threatening CCJ. Any advice please on when and how to act. Many thanks

No risk of CCJ if you follow forum advice.
No need to act yet but look out for a Letter before/of Claim giving you 30 days notice from a Legal firm.

Come back when you get the usual Moorside Legal court claim that I'm sure you've read about and seen photos of, assuming you've browsed new UKCPS threads this year.
