    Thanks Fruitcake.

The bay in question is on what seems to be a public road, but will double check.

Take some date stamped photos they may be useful, and where exactly is this?
    Hey Jim

Here are some photos of the location (Leicester - Malabar Road):

I've just had the first correspondence come through including several texts to get in touch with ZZPS (24th June which is 81 days after the incident date):

Should I reply back to my original email to obtain POPLA code?

    1. Did you appeal to GB management? If so ..

    2. Did you receive a rejection letter? If so ..

    3. Did it contain your POPLA Verification Code?

If 2 and/or 3 above are negative, then you must firstly complain to GB Mgt demanding a POPLA code, with 7 day deadline, otherwise, you tell them that you will complain further to the BPA.

Ignore ZZPS - debt collectors (see NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, fourth post).

Thanks for the response. Couple of answers to your points:

    1. I appealed and they rejected
    2. Rejection letter stated driver details are to be provided due to PoFa 2012
    3. Not yet - my plan is to reply back to the email asking for the POPLA verification code and also complain formally.

The complaint should go to them about the missing rejection that would include a valid Popla code, using the complaints link listed on the BPA AOS members list

The BPA insist on that before they will get involved, so follow the correct procedures, and ignore the debt collectors

    Hi All,

Here is my proposed response (please kindly review):

    -----------------------------------

    To whom is may concern,

As per my previous correspondence with you (29/04/2024), the Registered Keeper of the above vehicle denies any liability for the unenforceable charge detailed in the above Parking Charge Notice. There are no financial loss has been incurred by the landowner as a result of this incident and hence I feel that the sum you are seeking amounts to a punitive and unenforceable penalty

Please confirm acceptance of this challenge and cancel the charge, or provide a POPLA verification code within 7 days of this email. If you do not provide this, I will formally complain to the BPA regarding the predatory conduct.

    Yours Faithfully,

    -----------------------------------

If you are complaining about not receiving a Popla code or cancellation after making the first appeal, you are not appealing again , its a complaint only, not about correspondence, but about the initial appeal itself, so say so

You are complaining about the lack of a rejection with Popla code, or cancellation, to the previous appeal, giving them 7 days to reply, otherwise you will be complaining about their conduct to the BPA AOS compliance team, especially regarding breaches of the BPA CoP version 9 , and to call off the debt collectors too

    Should be two lines:

    1.  Complain about the lack of POPLA Code

    2.  Tell them you will report them to the BPA.
