But Smart & DRP have form for (apparently) not bothering with rejection letters &POPLA Codes.  Let's see what game they play here.

Thanks, they only allow the option of 'Pay or appeal the PCN' - I can put my PCN and reg in and it is letting me either pay or appeal (despite having sent an appeal in, but no record of it on their end). Odd. I guess I keep waiting.

30 days later, nothing from Smart Parking in response to my appeal. Should I email them now to ask of my appeal status? Reading around here I think they will claim to have sent an email response which never made it to me, perhaps because they have not sent it in the first place.

Wait until around day 42, then use the complaint link on the BPA AOS member list

I wouldn't wait till day 42 as that gives Smart a chance to say the POPLA Code has expired.

I emailed their complaints team yesterday chasing an answer to the appeal made over a month ago. The reply from them today is as below:

"5 June, 2024
Dear Mr X XXXXXXX

Parking Charge Notice Number : XXXXXXXXX


Thank you for your recent communication. 

I have noted the points you raised and would like to confirm that we are cancelling the Parking Charge Notice.

If I can be of any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact me.

Smart Parking Ltd"
