Advice For Condensation Over Winter

Specification-wise, I think it looks good and yes please report back in case this helps others!

As we head in to spring & summer, condensation should reduce as everything warms up. In the meantime, worth picking up a few temperature/humidity monitors to dot around the house. I find these to be cheap, reasonably accurate, and can be monitored through an app - https://buy.mi.com/uk/item/3204500023

Hi all
Just FYI, we have had the dehumidifier on throughout the day on Saturday & Sunday and went about our usual day to day routines. The machine has collected so much water!! I've had to empty it twice as both times it was over half full. We have even noticed that the air does seem a lot drier in the house, clothes are drying faster and it just feels more comfortable. I know we are getting into warmer weather but it has dramatically helped a lot.
Thank you for all the help and advice.New to all this, heres hoping I join the club of winners!

Good to hear that is making a improvement.
For the next couple of weeks when running the dehumidifier leave wardrobe and bedroom doors open, this should help.Play with the expectation of winning not the fear of failure. S.Clarke1 -
Hi all,
Just an update from the great advice given 6 months ago. I have been running the dehumidifier over the summer and it has been doing a great job. This time of year is where the condensation on the windows was starting to get really bad. I am amazed at the performance of this machine. Over the last few weeks we haven't had a drop of condensation on any of the windows or doors, washing has been drying in record time and the air feels a lot drier and cleaner.
Thank you to all that commented on this thread and advised a machine. This is the first year in many that we have been mould and damp free.
Thanks againNew to all this, heres hoping I join the club of winners!

Thanks for the update.
Could you do so again once you are through winter, please?
Did you really have the dehumidifier running through summer? I wouldn't have thought it necessary.0
