Yes sadly the FSCS does not cover this sort of claim so even if it comes up roses for the consumer after the review, if the firm is dissolved and the liabilities weren’t taken on (Santander really regretted doing that with GE store cards 🤣) then there is no recourse. Like with all the payday and door stop lenders going bust, consumer compensation went with them. FSCS update required to cover CCA in addition to bad advice methinks.0
