Our website is currently being visited by an unusually high number of customers all looking for great value hotel accommodation.

We want to make sure those customers who are already on the site can have the best booking experience. So we are temporarily restricting the number of customers who can visit the site. This restriction shouldn't last long and we would ask you to try again in a few minutes.

    We apologise for the inconvenience.

    getting this - boohiss!
Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.

there's already a couple of threads running on this topic.
  • I have come across this before where they (then) charged £4 (in 2006) for juice, coffee sachet (same as freebie coffee), croissant, marmalade - I think that was all if my grey cells recall correctly.

Some hotels have a bar cafe which serves a full english buffet breakfast for £7.50.
The breakfast you are referring to above is the breakfast in a box.

Only wish that was true, I would rather not get on the site than crash half way through, which is what is happening.

  • Drove me absolutely insane, and took over two hours - but eventually managed to book a Sunday one night stay in Harrogate end of June and a Friday and Saturday two night stay in Pontefract mid July, and all three nights for the grand total of £27 (family rooms at both hotels) :j

It really is worth persevering if you have nothing better to do on a very wet and windy (in Cumbria at least) December afternoon - GOOD LUCK!!!

    HOORAH

Finally managed to book 1 night in August in a quaint seafront hotel in Eastbourne with breakfast in bar cafe.

The buffet breakfast is usual £7.50 pp but got reduction of 10% for online booking and children under 16 free
  • here's how

Think of the date you want then
    use this https://www.travelodge.co.uk/make_a_booking/
Put as a bookmark and refresh like nobodys business you can see the page title come up in the tab

type in location from this list
    https://www.travelodge.co.uk/find_a_hotel/list.php

If the hotel is available for those date great if not in the right hand pain it tell you hotel near at what cost.

    good luck:T

    Has anyone got a room?????
Yep I got 3 rooms for July and August for £27. Still plenty available. I opened two windows (Ctrl N) so if I was "bounced out" I always had a window logged into the site.
