Thanks for the replies. Yes, I might give Zopa a go - I had an account back when it was a p2p platform, and I found them easy to get along with.
I've queried the paying in delays with Plum, and they're somewhat opaque in their answers. But whatever they say, I see no good reason for it to take as long as it does.
Also, I hit the 'skip' button when it was offering to set up automatic saving, and yet its 'Brain' has just taken money from my linked account without any notification. Which isn't the end of the world, but I like to decide where my money goes, not have it decided for me. And now that money is lost in their direct debit hyper-dimension for at least a week.
I think it's time to get out.0 -
I got the same feeling to get out as the app front end has potential but I am not sure about the internal processes nor the supporting back end which made me nervous and also trying to bail but meeting pushbacks and slow responses.
