@Anubis1311, your car registration is showing in the document you posted. Best to replace that picture with a suitably redacted one.
I cannot seem to edit my post. Potentially due to me being a new member?

Just make a new post with the redacted image and we can get the old one removed.
Ok I’ve made a new post, can I get this one removed please as advised.

    Thanks
    Old image has been removed.

Apologies for the confusion and delay in responding, and thank you for the assistance. I have submitted my defence with paragraph 3 being as follows. I hope it is sufficient.

    3. The Defendant was parked at Baddeley Court, Newport in order to use the shopping facilities on site. The car park is free to park and as such no fee was required to be paid. The Claimant has claimed that the Defendant was parked for longer than permitted. The Defendant denies this as the ANPR system only records time on site and not ‘time parked’. The Defendant states that the actual time parked was well within the 2 hours plus 10 minutes grace period. The Defendant points out that the exact time of arrival picked up by the ANPR is not made known to patrons using the facility. As the car park is free to park, no pay and display ticket identifying the start time of parking is issued either. Therefore the Defendant states that it should be assumed that the ‘time parked’ commenced at the point the Defendant was physically able to park the vehicle in one of the permitted bays and ended once the bay was vacated. Due to the congested nature of the combined entry and exit at Baddeley Court, the Defendant states that the actual time that the vehicle was able to be physically parked in one of the permitted bays was significantly different to the time picked up by the ANPR system. Furthermore as the car park at Baddeley court was heavily congested on the day in question, the actual time the Defendant vacated the permitted parking bay was equally significantly different to the exit time picked up by the ANPR system.

Hi all, the DQ seems to have updated May 2024. It no longer asks if you agree to mediation and states that all claims under £10,000 are required to go through mediation. Failure to attend will result in penalties.

Also D1 now requires the reasons why I do not believe the claim is not suitable for determination without a hearing. I assume I can just state that I believe it is so complex it must be heard orally?

F1 also requires a reason I wish the hearing to be heard in my home court. What would that reason be?

Yep, see the thread by @Grizebeck last week re compulsory Mediation.  We suggest you wait for the CNBC to post it to you (so far, they are reportedly still sending the old N180) rather than download the horrible new version.

These bits are already covered in the NEWBIES thread and are not new:
