Passport countersign

I don't know who to ask to get my first adult passport countersigned because my GP won't do it  and nether does the pharmacist I've gone through the list on the government website and I don't know anyone with them sort of jobs I have a family friend who I've known 4 years who is willing to actually sign but he's a window cleaner

Anyway, the list is examples. Just find someone who is a manager or a trustee of a charity.

you can normally get a solicitor to do it - but they may charge - I did that years ago when living away - cost me £10

yes, probably a local one - if they are a single bloke / blokette rather than a national chain - all the better.

You can't just pay a solicitor to sign it - it has to be someone who has known the applicant personally for at least two years

OP - are you employed or in education ? If so could you perhaps ask one of your teachers or a manager at work ?
