I wouldn't bother about deadlines or phone calls, just keep checking your MCOL claim history until it shows that the CNBC has posted out your N180, check it maybe every other day, or twice a week
The CNBC are extremely busy and backlogged, so you are in their hands, even if the claimant acts promptly
MCOL claim history is your overwatch on this, keep checking weekly, but expect a couple of months4 -

brezza said:Good afternoon MSE community,
I have been trying to follow the procedure in order to fight an unfair parking claim by DCB legal, recently I have received a letter stating that I have not replied to the claim form and that I am ordered to pay costs. When I log in to the money claim gov site it states that:
"A Judgment has been entered against you. You cannot respond to the claim at this time but you may apply for the judgment to be set aside."
So far this is what happened:Your acknowledgment of service was submitted on 15/12/2023
Your acknowledgment of service was received on 18/12/2023
A judgment was issued against you on 05/04/2024
I sent my defence to CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk on 07/01/2024
When I logged in to MCOL in march the claim was still being considered
I'm unsure of what to do next.I would like to use the set aside process if possible. As you can imagine I'm panicking a bit.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Kind regards

Just wanted to update the forumites, that this case went to court. I'm pleased to report that I won the case!
I was not awarded any costs because I did not take a day off from work and travel was minimal. The case was won on the basis that I had my tenancy agreement and a note from my landlord at the time presenting me a parking permit. The final claim was close to £1100 in total with all the added extras. So I'm very pleased I went throught the process to defend this claim. Court was intimidating at first but I felt I was treated fairly and my prepared evidence satisfied the judge.
A BIG thanks to those who have helped on this forum!!

Briiliant .... you had a good judge who understood the scam. Sadly there are still some judges who need to be re trained
DCBL and the rest of the legal coven should be worried about the courts. especially with their timewasting antics

They proceeded to a hearing because it was a multi-PCN case. They follow the money.
ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
