Sky Ultrafast Plus Broadband - thoughts?

(both the 500 Mbps deal).Also, I'll need to find out how long it takes them to connect - I work from home, so it needs to be a no-fuss crossover, without paying too much to TalkTalk before it's disconnected.0

If the phone number you have with Talk Talk is unimportant ,and you won’t be taking a phone service with FTTP , or if Sky provide one , it’s not required, then there is no ‘connection’ between the new FTTP provide and the TT cease , so you would need to contact TT yourself and not rely the new provider to serve notice on your behalf.
Its understandable to not to want to pay for both services, personally I woukd get the FTTP in first , and once it’s in and working, then cease the TT service, even if that’s a month of paying for the TT service after FTTP is available , the alternative is to give TT notice to quit , asking for the proposed FTTP date to be the last date on TT , but if the FTTP installation is delayed, you may end up with no service at all for a while .
