I’ve never known it to take this long but so I’ve heard they’re checking more than necessary ……. Probably their way of throwing the covid money at us
trying to scrape it back

Found out a few guys from work already had there's last week so I feel a little disappointed in the system.  Strange as HMRC haven't even calculated my return yet as they state they are waiting on further information. I was still able to proceed with repayment.

That has got absolutely nothing to do with Self Assessment.

You are looking at the wrong place.  Assuming you have filed a tax return.

This is the reply from my self assessment tax return so I currently have no tax calculation to preview. Only my over paid amount for repayment that i requested. Currently pending.

To be honest I found it a little strange myself. I have always been self employed and yes I know the ins and outs of the self assessment website very well as this message is logged under this years tax calculation preview.
