I guess I stay patient as it looks like they want this to go to court. Any thoughts? It won't get to court. Read the DCB Legal Discontinuance thread. Why do you think your case will be different? I predict a discontinuance will soon be on its way!

Well they are never discontinue before mediation. Why would they when a percentage of victims will pay at that point.4

Post mediation call. I have received a "Notice of Allocation Small Claims Track (Hearing)" letter from my preferred local court. It mentions both parties must submit witness statements by the end of the month but this isn't really relevant to me. The claimant is also asked to file various pieces of evidence:
a/ A copy of written terms of contract.
b/ A copy of the Claimant agreement with the Land owner.
c/ Location of contract,
d/ Photo evidence.
e/ Details of the breach of contract.
f/ How the debt was calculated.
I am still clueless as to the photo evidence aspect for - "the defendant parked and left site" as they merely sent me a PCN letter with two photos of my car 10 seconds apart??? No video clip or screen shots of me leaving site.
I have now also received an email from the G24 dropping the fine from £263 down to £100 and quote:- Upon receipt of the settlement sum of £100.00 we will update the Court that the matter has been settled. If you are not agreeable, we will continue to follow the Court process as normal.
Am I correct and should I stay resolute and stick to my guns now I've come so far.

Is it possible to show us a photo of the Order for our records?
This is EXACTLY what judges should be doing. It's insane that these clowns can just make claims based on a contract yet never supply a copy. The DCB Legal / G24 desperate offer is a sign they are about to discontinue. Ignore them.6 -
Opologies all. I have just read Umkomaas's comment and the thread and can see we are at "End Game"Umkomaas said:I guess I stay patient as it looks like they want this to go to court. I will ignore the £100 offer, stick to my guns and wait for the discontinuation letter from DCB and the court.5 -
Why do you think that, are you going to turn up at court without a witness statement, what will the judge rely on as your case and your evidence to support your defence?Pfazer69 said:Post mediation call. I haven't read right back through the thread, but if this is a standard private parking charge court claim, I agree with you @Le_Kirk. Getting the WS in can often provide the trigger for the discontinuance process to accelerate.Le_Kirk said:

There are no witnesses from my end... I guess the court want the claimant to divulge whether they have any witnesses.Umkomaas said:
