Hi all need some clarification/help.
G24 Ltd wish to fine me for parking in a free for patrons - up to 180 minutes bay at a retail park they police. Their signage confirms this.
They have historically duped me out of money for overstaying the 180 minutes which I payed as they had 2x photos showing time in and leaving in breach of this
They seem to be following a different tact now. Their latest 2x photo's being15 seconds apart show a distant and close up of my car parked dated 09/03/24 but crucially they state "Term Breached: Parked & left site..."
They have asked for shop or bank receipts for the day in question. They also mention that: "Photographic evidence of the breach of contractual term is avaliable by request" for which I have requested.
I have no such receipts that day as I merely window shopped and payed cash for a small item.
Thus far I have responded stating all this. I did try to go on the IAS site to appeal but it wouldn't alow me to set up an account appeal due password character issues.
My question is. How will this play out and what course of action should I take. I don't want to pay again.

I have to be honest and say I did leave the site on foot but returned within the 180 limit. You won't be telling G24 that. Your photo of the sign is too blurry to make much out, but does it say anywhere on it about 'leaving the site'?Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Leaving the site is, surely, an unfair termYou never know how far you can go until you go too far.1 -
Thanks all... I will check the "Leaving the site" on the signs tomorrow. May get another clearer photo whilst I'm there.0

The sign obviously does not mention "leaving the site". Besides that, what evidence have they provided to prove you left the site? I'm pretty sure it is "none".2

But you can ignore them. Forget it.
No-one pays all the time this industry escapes Government regulation (finally coming in later this year).
I assume this isn't in Scotland?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The leaving site scam has been an add on try on for years and since "The Toothbrush Case" where a PPC's solicitor was threatened with a few nights at Her Majesty"s Pleasure (hence bring a toothbrush) no one has taken it to court since. In any case that sign says (as far as it can be read) says "Customers Only" which you were, I bet it says nothing about leaving site, or what the "site" is or where the boundary is, or gives a plan of the site does it?In any case if leaving site was such a big deal why would they allow it to happen and take a photo instead of stopping it, was there a fence and barrier? It's a scam don't fall for it (again) they are greedy scammers you have an invoice not a fine G24 they are a two bit parking operator are not an authority!Forget the IAS they are in on the scam.3
