The children are all under 17, I was hoping we could remain in the home until youngest is 18 youngest 10, I better face the facts she’s gone the kids and will start to clear the house of clutter. I won’t be able to buy anywhere so rent it will have to b, thanks for the advice0

With child maintenance, I’ll be about £1000 short a month to live here with three children I’ll up my income could just do it, does she have to pay half the mortgage until the divorce?0

Don't take it for granted that you will be keeping the kids.
There can be a strong financial incentive to retain some degree of custody over the children.
Once your wife has taken some advice, there's potential for the situation to change dramatically - be prepared for it...1
