Holiday was great and it was nice seeing my mum again. Still struggling to get back to my routine. I am off today so just getting ready to go to the gym. Got paid from one of my jobs so did my budget and £585 OP to the mortgage, might send some more later in the month, but don't want to elave myself short.
Original mortgage 2016 -£310,500 Current balance Oct 26 -£154,410
Total OP 2026 £9461/10000

End of the month, just sat down to update ynab, I overspent on clothes (£250), but it will be covered from next month pay. I had to kill 3 hs in central london to wait for a friend as it was her birthday and she booked a restaurant in the evening, so I ended up doing some clothes shopping to kill time. I rarely ever go shopping, so I don't feel bad and it was things I needed.
Total OP for the month was £668.87, managed to find some more spare from other areas, also cleaned missed a week so I OP the money instead.
I have employed my son through my company as I'm struggling to keep on top of my admin, he is very excited and I will be giving him his first payslip next week ;) Let's see how that goes

Beginning of the month and money shuffle done. This is a good month for savings, investing and OPs :). Total OP done so far £1397.29. £2.5k into SIIP, £1450 S&S ISA an £1k cash ISA :) I have been working some extra days but I am off today so will enjoy the day and go to the gym.
We have now paid 50% of the mortgage. Original balance was -£310,500 and current balance is -£154,410. It has taken 8years and 3 months to pay half. I am only 5k away from being mortgage neutral :), I am hoping to be mortgage neutral by the end of the year.
