Thank you. I know that at least it was not the whole balance of the account, there was a lot more transactions that were made but got declined. The worst was getting the notifications and not being able to do anything. Also it is not easy to contact trading 212 and I feel they were very slow to react. The ID verification was very believable as they asked me very recently to verify my ID. Now the scammers have my passport which I have to cancel and pay for a new one. I will fight over this and hope to get my money back, and if I don't get the money back that's not the end of the world, but it made me very wary. I have another ISA with 6 figures in it, if it was that account I would have a heart attack lol. It just made me worried if my money is safe. I feel I sacrifice a lot for the future and it can be gone in an instant.

So Trading 212 has refunded my money but they have not replied to my complaint. I think they were very negligent as I contacted them several times saying I could not access my account and asking to suspend any transactions as I feared my account had been hacked. The hackers were still able to create a new virtual card and spend money. The first transaction was 1.5hs after I first started contacting them.

Good news on getting the money back. Hope you get a response to the complaint soon, unbelievable that they haven't at least given an interim response to say they need to investigate further and give you a timescale.

They did respond that they are investigating. We will see, at least they credit the account, but I had to re-buy the shares at a higher price.
