Weird issue when typing posts

Hi I keep having an issue when typing posts. I will hit the back space button or the return button and the sentences in my post will be either jumbled up or will end up in the middle of other sentences. I also typed out a paragraph and decided to delete it but when I type the next sentence the deleted paragraph came up in the middle of the post. I’m thinking this is a problem with my iPad but wanted to check this hasn’t happened to anyone else before I do somthing about it

I get similar on my iPad 

When typing out a post and miss hit a key the post jumps up and at times it disappears completely

I think I've had this on my Windows laptop, but can't be totally sure, I do suffer from finger trouble sometimes. I'll update this comment if I experience it.

Hi everyone

Could I just check if issues mentioned on this thread are ones that have been going on for a while or are they very recent?

As we are using a legacy editor, we're aware of some bugs, but fixes for this editor are unlikely.
We hope to move to a new editor when there are improvements Forumites asked for when we previously tried it. 

But if there are bugs that have only appeared recently, I can certainly check if there's been any change.

 This is new for me. When I type on iPad the words jump around and jumble up and my cursor moves to a spot other than the end of the last sentence
