"Old Life Boat House" is insufficient to identify the location of the alleged breach, and neither the term breached nor the conduct that caused the charge are pleaded. Nor does it even mention on what legal basis you are being pursued (under the POFA - who knows?).
Use the hharry100 version of defence. You know, the one clearly linked in the third paragraph of the Template Defence, as an alternative one for poorly pleaded POC.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Your AoS needs to be submitted no later than 4pm on 10th April. There is no advantage to delaying it. By submitting your AoS in time, you then have until 4pm on Wednesday 24th April to submit your defence as described in the second post in the Newbies/FAQ thread.1

With a Claim Issue Date of 22nd March, you have until Wednesday 10th April to file an Acknowledgment of Service but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.To file an Acknowledgment of Service, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Wednesday 24th April 2024 to file your Defence. That's four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute. To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service guidance.Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.
Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.2
