It's raining here too but I have to clear some flower beds in the garden to make more veggie beds - hopefully it will ease up a bit so I don't end up like a drowned rat!! 😳

Right I am seizing the early morning (another 7am wake up without feeling weird - amazing!) and going to get my new peas, beans, carrots, onions and shallots out in the garden this morning before I go meet friends for coffee. To do list will wait until after I get back. Not much to do today - just tidy through the kitchen, do the dishwasher (currently on) and do a bit of video editing.£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January8

I'm up but not feeling remotely motivated, even though it's bright and sunny (we had the rain yesterday afternoon, evening and overnight). The list:Tidy the dining table, which is a mess again (b/f from 2 days ago). Actually I might just give up on that for now.Clean and tidy the last shelf on the bookcase (b/f from yesterday)Take everything out of the hall cupboard and discard anything past its use-by date and put back everything else but tidily, not in the messy way it is now. (b/f from yesterday)WUPA A's breakfast thingsGo for a walkFinalise my Easter Waitrose orderI'm sure there are other things that should go on the list but my brain won't work at the moment. Have a good day everyone.6

Hope your brain is fully functioning now CoG.
The sun came out and stayed. I have done dailies, walked Poppet and spent an hour and a half in the garden.Spend less now, work less later.6 -
I don't feel very motivated either CofG. I was wide awake at 4.30am having had a bizzare dream about DS shoplifting. So I got up at 5am and was working by 5.30am, which means that I have almost done my hours for the week.
I have washed out the fridge while my soup reheated. I will give the kitchen a good clean in a bit. Tempted to go out for a walk as the sun shining.
Jazee that must be so hard. My mum looked after my boys and the only time I said anything negative was when she started taking them to the corner shop every day to buy them sweets, and even then I felt a bit guilty!
Right, off to get Henry out of the cupboard.6 -
Right.. Basin leak stopped.. the isolation valve had cracked... BUT ... yes there is more!!! They could not turn off the water and have succeeded in breaking the stopcock outside my house.. so i have a water feature... fun times!
Kitchen is still dripping so I need to wait for that to dry before I can do anything to clean it up..
I am sorting some V!nted/CS stuff this afternoon and hoping to get some more listed.I have some new storage bags to move things to so I can get rid of the huge box in the back room.Litter trays all cleaned and washed and drying.. apart from the 2 catching leaks.

Well, I've not done well again. I seem to have been running around all day but have achieved very little - I don't really understand it. Anyway, here's today's list updated:Tidy the dining table, which is a mess again (b/f from 2 days ago). Actually I might just give up on that for now.Clean and tidy the last shelf on the bookcase (b/f from yesterday) Edit: definitely given up for now.Take everything out of the hall cupboard and discard anything past its use-by date and put back everything else but tidily, not in the messy way it is now. (b/f from yesterday)WUPA A's breakfast thingsGo for a walkFinalise my Easter Waitrose orderClean the hobOf course, I made lunch and tea and washed up. It's been raining all day so I had to forget my walk but I drove to the chemist to collect a prescription for A but it wasn't ready. It was only for paracetamol so I just bough a box of generic ones to tide him over. I also helped A send 3 emails, which is more time consuming than it sounds. I also wrote and posted a card to our friend in Plymouth. As you can see, I've not made much progress and now I'm just too tired, mentally, to tackle the shelf (in fact it's not the last, there is one other) or the cupboard. I know that sounds pathetic but it's just one of those days.I'd like to go to the 6pm mass so I need to buck myself up.

Hi all
Well I went for a walk and had a scary encounter with some cattle so it wasn't quite the relaxing afternoon I had planned. DH has been driving my car all week but it waited until I was on a country lane in the dark on my own to tell me my tyre pressures needs checking. I will have to deal with that in the morning. Sigh.
Enough excitement for one day. I have promised that I will be with DS by 8.30am tomorrow to help him and GF move house.
It's been a long day but I feel a bit wired.7
