Ours came from Poundland and was lovely, fairly light as far as Christmas puds go which suited us and the children well.MFiT-T2 challenge member #59

We had a cheap tesco version, and I really didn't like it, but I'm not sure if that's down to the quality, or the fact I can't stand cider.
We picked up a Thorntons one with some vouchers we got from a survey site - haven't had that one yet, but I can't wait to try it.DFW Nerd No. 140

Steamed mine, it is easy as I have an AGA to just leave it in there for hours. I don't have a microwave (I'm scared of them) so can't compare. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Steamed mine as well, had used the 3 tier steamer for the carrots and broccoli then stuck the Christmas pudding in for 1 1/2 hours afterwards; really moist and light, absolutely delicious. Got ours from Morrisons this year. Only steamed it in an attempt to get the house smelling of Xmas pud .. didn't quite work out; then I forgot about the pudding so had to resteam it for 1/2 hour later on to heat it up ... still absolutely gorgeous, though! That's Numberwang!0
