We loved the Lidls 1 . A greta tip given to me is to put the pudding in the slow cooker early as youi like in another room and that eases the congestion on the cooker. Also make your gravy and keep it in a large thermos-- saves that last minute rush.
Try and do a good deed every day.

We had a Lidl one this year (yes I know) but found it had too many nuts in, making us pick them out. Back to the usual Tesco one for us next year.

I also bought the Lidl one... as one of those cookery programmes with Anthony Worral-Thompson stated that it was one of the better ones on the market this year.
There was alot of nuts in it..... but it did have a nice flavour... and you cant have too many nuts as far as I'm concerned  :D
  • I bought 2 from Tesco the other day & haven't touched them yet, was thinking about keeping them till New Years day as we've got the OH's Uncle coming for Dinner.
    Winnings :D

Was seriously tempted today as all the puds in Tesco are now half price, but got a bit confused by all the different variations this year and came away without any.

Just the normal Asda one with M&S extra thick cream with Coivasier (sorry no idea how to spell that, it's brandy anyway). Dee-licious!

That's fine, but one of my guests had false teeth & literally had to pick out the nuts as there was so many :o
