LIQUIDATION

Afternoon All.
We live in a Park Home manufactured by a company called Tingdene. We have been having problems for over a year with the outside of our home. Tingdene accepted responsibility and told us that they would replace and repair the damagned walls this year some time. When we chased them on Friday for an update we found out that the company had gone into liquidation in December! Where do we stand as we cannot afford to do the massive repairs ourselves - Thank you for your help.

I think you need to be asking this on the house buying board. House buying, renting & selling — MoneySavingExpert Forum
Report your post (red pennant flag in bottom left corner of your post) and ask a member of the site team to move it0 -
If you mean Tingdene Homes Limited, they don't have any assets for ordinary creditors (which is what you'd be, assuming you had a case):
https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/01026405
so unless you had some other form of warranty I can't see you have any avenues.1 -
We've moved this to the house buying/selling boardOfficial MSE Forum Team member. Please use the 'report' button to alert us to problem posts, or email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com1

It might be worth posting some pictures of the defects, it might not be as expensive to fix as you think.0
