CC for housewife with no income but working hubby?

Can anyone give me some advice please? I'm a SAHM but my hubby works full-time. My CC is coming to the end of its 0% rate but the cards I have looked at transferring to all require me to have my own income.

I can't remember how I got round this last time (I'm currently with Barclaycard) so any advice would be gratefully received.

TIA

How about husband opening CC and then adding you as a secondary card-holder? Should be quite simple.
  • Could I transfer my existing balance that way?

Do you mean that you already have a card on your name with some balance on it? If you want a new card just to transfer a balance, this card does not need to be on your name. Your husband can ask to transfer balance from your card to his card regardles of the fact that you are a second cardholder or not.

P.S. Example: 'Can Someone Else BT to your Credit Card'

I'm also a sahm and my partner works fulltime. I applied for a Texaco card before christmas and was accepted and I have recently (this month) received my Virgin card at 0%. I think these 2 assess your household income rather than just your personal income.
